Symptom

  • When the depreciation key is changed in transaction AS02, error AA632 'Line item causes scrap value of & to be violated' is issued.
  • The Net Book Value (NBV) is zero at the beginning of the latest open fiscal year.
  • EA-FIN is activated and New Depreciation Engine (NDE) is used in Asset Accounting.
