1575760 - Unable to View Design Data Source View in the Business Analytics Work Center

Symptom

The key user has assigned Business Analytics work center to your user. But you are unable view the Design Data Source view in the Business Analytics work center.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Business Analytics work center.

You are not able to view Design Data Source view on the left side of the screen.

Cause

The Key User has not assigned the Design Data Source view to your user while doing assignment of Business Analytics work center to your user.

Resolution

Contact key user to use following steps to assign Design Data Source view to your user.

  1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
  2. Select the Business Users view.
  3. Search your username from the list.
  4. Select the Edit-> Access Rights button.
  5. Select the Business Analytics work center in the Available Work Centers section.
  6. Tick mark the Design Data Source view option in the Available Views section.
  7. Select the Save and Close button to complete the process.
