1576433 - Address Server won't start

Symptom

  • Error: "Windows could not start the BusinessObjects Address Server service on Local Computer."
  • Error: "Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion."
  • When launching AddressServer.exe from command line, error: "This application has failed to start because SHSMP.DLL was not found.  Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
