SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

1577351 - Stub class not found error. Core service p4 failed.

Symptom

  • The SAP J2EE Netweaver system fails to start. In the dev_serverX we see a -11113 exit code which tells us a service failed and in the std_serverX.out we see that the P4 service failed with the following error:

Core service file failed. J2EE Engine cannot be started.
com.sap.engine.frame.ServiceException: Stub class not found: com.sap.engine.services.file.FileTransferImpl_Stub; nested exception is: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sap.engine.services.file.FileTransferImpl_Stub
