1580055 - ESS Leave Request Application (LEA): Collision on a different date

Symptom

While creating a leave request an employee gets the error:

"conflict with Absences\Annual leave (<infotype>/<subtype>) from <date> to <date>"*

although there is no conflict at the day of the new request and the date in the error message does not fit to request date.
It is unclear why the system is giving an error for a complete different day.

Prior to SAP Note 1127249 the same might occur without any date.
