1580832 - Unable to start the PI Integration Builder after a System Copy

Symptom

  • Startup of the Integration Builder fails
  • Or when working with any type of configuration object e.g. Edit, Save, Activate actions
  • The error thrown is one of the following:
  1. 'Unable to start component DIRECTORY since unable to execute
    StartupCodeEntry class
    com.sap.aii.ibdir.server.applcomp.StartupCodeEntry. Cause:
    com.sap.aii.ib.server.pvcadapt.migration.PvcMigrationException: Missing
    value for objVersion!'
  2. 'Unable to start component REPOSITORY since unable to execute
    StartupCodeEntry class
    com.sap.aii.ibdir.server.applcomp.StartupCodeEntry. Cause:
    com.sap.aii.ib.server.pvcadapt.migration.PvcMigrationException: Missing
    value for objVersion!'
