Symptom
- BusinessObjects' Windows AD authentication takes more than 30 seconds
- This happens when master domain controller is unavailable
- Master domain controller is unavailable but backup domain controllers are available
- Logon to Windows is fast as usual while BusinessObjects' Windows AD authentication is very slow
