1581963 - Review Account Balances Not Display the Balance of Statistical Time Account

You, as a time administrator, want to review the balances of time accounts. But you find that the time account types of Statistical Account category are not showing in Time Account Types in Regular Tasks of Review Time Account Balances.

1. Go to the Time Administration work center.
2. Select the Regular Tasks view.
3. Select the Review Account Balances in Time Account Processing.
4. Select the drop down box for the Time Account Type field, where the time account types with Statistical Account category are not available.

Statistical accounts do not have a quota which changes when posting happens, e.g. when leave is taken. The purpose of the Review Account Balances screen is to check the balance and to maintain deviating rules. For example, if you search for US0020 on 1.4.2012, you get a result set which shows the remaining balance for that employee for that account. When you then click on Maintain Deviating Rules, you can determine what happens for the remaining balance at period end, such as the leaves are carried forward into the next year etc. But this is only needed when the standard rule does not fit. For statistical accounts, such carrying forward/paying out mechanism at period end do not exist. Hence, the  statistical accounts are not shown on this screen.
