Symptom

  • MS Access database is accessible through ODBC drivers on Windows and Unix, is it also a valid data source for Data Services to read (or write) data?
  • Error: ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> for data source <Bid Stats Combined Sources> failed: <[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Access database engine cannot open or write to the
    file '(unknown)'.
  • "ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> to connect database <dbname> failed with error: <ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> for data source <dbname> failed: <[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] '(unknown)' is not a valid path. Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides.>. Notify Customer Support.>."
  • ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> for data source <MS Access Database> failed: <[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager]Data source name not found and no default driver specified>. Notify Customer Support.
