1585586 - Automatic workstation update (Auto update) fails - NWAWUSVC : Error locating SAPSvrSetup.xml

Symptom

You have configured the SAP Automatic Workstation Update to update your clients but the service updater fails altough the prerequisites listed in the SAP Front End installation guide are fulfilled.　

 The NwSapAutoWorkstationUpdateService.log located in the \SAP\SapSetup\LOGs\ directory contains the following error: 

  •   NWAWUSVC 1W Error locating SAPSvrSetup.xml:  Access is denied.## Error code 0x5 (5)
  •   NWAWUSVC 1W Error locating SAPSvrSetup.xml:  The system cannot find the file specified.## Error code 0x3
