1591167 - Not possible to Change the Added Notes to Time Recordings

Symptom

You are not able to change the notes/comments added to time recordings subsequently.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Cause

This is the expected system behavior.

Resolution

It is not possible to change a note added to a time recording after saving. However, you can create a new internal comment for the same time recording as the most recent one. Only this one is used in the follow-up processes.

  1. Go to the Home work center.
  2. Select the Self Services Overview view.
  3. Select the Edit Time Sheet link under the Time section.
  4. Select the already recorded time.
  5. Select the Edit Details button.
  6. Select the respective date and enter some internal comments.
  7. Select the Release button and choose All or Selected period.
  8. Select the Save and Close button.
