1593620 - How to grant a user the right only to change users' passwords and prevent them from changing other user properties via SDK ?

Symptom

  •  In Business Objects CMC It's not possible to only grant changing password rights to a user, other properties (such name, enabled,disabled, etc..) are also granted. (see note 1554831)
  • You would like to restrict access to these other properties whilst allowing the user to change or reset passwords
