1595873 - BODS 3.2 repository creation error: ORA-12514: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor

Symptom

  • Error when creating repository via repoman on Unix
  • Successful connection can be established via sqlplus and tnsping
  • BODI-320006: Cannot open connection to the repository. The error message from the underlying DBMS is <OCI call <OCIServerAttach> for connection <test> failed: <ORA-12514: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect An error occurred during local repository creation."
