1596802 - BI4 SP1 install fails with Error: CacheDUs - failed to cache DUs or Failed to update cache for execution

Symptom

  • The installer fails with an "Unable To Update Setup Components" error shortly after beginning the installation.
  • You will find the following error messages in the installation logs:
  • Error: CacheDUs - failed to cache DUs.
    Error: Failed to update cache for execution.  Program will exit.
    Error: The following DUs are marked in the manifest as installed, but not calculated as installed.
