Active Directory (AD) Single Sign On (SSO) into Query as a Web Service (QaaWS) fails with the error:

Login Warning

Impossible to log " on 'http://tomcat:port/dswsbobje/services/Session'.
  GetVersion exception (Error: WSE 99999)

GetVersion exception (Error: WSE 99999)


After following KB 1370469 to capture a WireShark trace from a client machine we see the following error:

 HTTP/1.1 403 Request must be performed over a secure channel (text/html)

After following KB 1204819 we see the following error in stdout.log

Message: An attempt was made to authenticate over unsecured channel,either use HTTPS or set idm.allowUnsecured.
