1599178 - Error " HTTP 404 - Resource requested unavailable" when running Infoview or the Central Managment Console.

Symptom

  • Cannot run Infoview and the Control Managment Console (CMC) after installing FP 3.5 on Business Objects product.
  • Error message : "HTTP 404 - Resource requested unavailable".
  • In the log file getting the error : " BOBJDeployment: building the InfoViewApp warfile with cmdline: "<BO_DIR>\javasdk\bin\jar.exe" cf InfoViewApp.war -C "<BO_DIR>\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\warfiles\WebApps\InfoViewApp" . -J-Xmx1024m
    Error occurred during initialization of VM
    Could not reserve enough space for object heap
    Could not create the Java virtual machine."
  • War files are deleted from ""<BO_DIR>/Business Object 12.0/Java/Application".
