  • You are using an appintegrator iView to integrate a backend application (e.g. a WebDynpro or BSP) to the portal.
  • The backend session is not terminated when navigating away / closing the browser window / logging off in the portal.
  • This happens when the user remains idle in the application window for a long time.
  • Additionally, the session timeout on the backend has been configured to longer than one hour.
