1599690 - Error; Unable to log on: Could not connect to server <Server_Name>

Symptom

  • Using  Crystal Report Server 2008 Embedded and C#.NET
  • Using the code bellow to log on to the server results in the error:

Unable to log on: Could not connect to server <Server_Name>

  • Code:

EnterpriseSession = sessionMgr.Logon("Administrator", "pwd", "Server_Name", "secEnterprise");

Environment

  • Crystal Report Server 2008 Embedded

Cause

  • Crystal Reports Server Embedded does not have the full Enterprise product and services

Resolution

  • It is not possible to use the logon code because there is no CMS to log into
