1600343 - Unable to start a new SIA on the same host during SSO configuration

Symptom

The issue takes place while configuring SSO between BW and BOBJ. According to SAP Integration Kit Installation and Administration Guide, in the BOBJ CCM a new node for SAP processing servers must be created. If you create a new SIA on the same host although, you will be unable to start it.

The Windows Event logs have the following error:

Event Type:        	Error

Event Category:  	(50001)

Event ID:           	4096

Description: 	<..> bind() failed: java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind
