1600791 - Error "Your license key is invalid or has expired.....(FWB 00016)" when adding permanent license key in Central Management Console

Symptom

  • When adding a valid permanent license key in Central Management Console (CMC ) and also when trying to delete the existing expired key, error below appears :
    "Your license key is invalid or has expired. If you received a temporary license by purchasing another BusinessObjects product, you must register BusinessObjects Enterprise to receive your permanent license key. (FWB 00016)"
  • This error may also occur in the setupenigne logs, if updating to a version which requires a new license key
  • Invalid License Key xxxx-* may also appear
