1601496 - Updating Web Services in Webi Rich Client or Applet changes authentication type to secEnterprise from other authentication types which may break the service

Symptom

  • Using Web Services
  • Editing an existing webservice in Webi Rich Client to add a new block or update an existing one changes the authentication type from to secEnterprise
  • The error ""Enterprise authentication could not log you on. Please make sure your logon information is correct.(FWB 00008)" is seen.
  • There is no way to revert the change to authentication type
