1604990 - BI 4.0: Changing BEx query that's in use in Web Intelligence report causes "An internal error occured while calling 'processDPCommandsEx' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30720) (WIS_30720)

Symptom

  • You create a Web Intelligence reprot based on a BEx query.
  • You make changes to the BEx query. 
  • When you refresh the Web Intelligence report, you get the error message: "An internal error occured while calling 'processDPCommandsEx' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30720) (WIS_30720).
  • You might also get the error message: "java.text.ParseException : Format.parseObject(string) failed".
  • When refreshing the list of values for a prompt, you might also get the error message: "Could not retrieve the list of values".
