Symptom

  • When trying to edit the properties of a BPC custom task in Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS)  /SSDT (SQL Server Data Tools) user receives the following error:
    • Cannot show the editor for this task. (Microsoft Visual Studio)
    • Additional Information:
      Request for the permission of type 'System.Security.Permissions.SecurityPermission, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed. (System.Windows.Forms)
