1610010 - Crystal Reports XI R2 RDC breaks Single Sign on for Lotus Notes

• Lotus Notes installed (8.5.2 revision 20100811.1131) with single sign on active and working
• After a VB6 application using the Crystal Reports Report Designer Component (RDC) is installed Single Sign on for Lotus Notes no longer works
• No error message is produced
• Lotus Notes prompts for username and password when a user attempts to use Lotus Notes

• Reported Solution on the Legacy SDKs - SAP Crystal Reports forum
• Appears that the Crystal Reports RDC adds a line into the Notes.ini file that states the following:

EXTMGR_ADDINS=extpwd

• To resolve the Single Sign on for Lotus Notes issue, comment out or delete the above line from the Notes.ini file

• Support for Crystal Reports XI R2 terminated on July 30, 2011
• No new patches or fixes will be released for this version of Crystal Reports
