When a Webi report is created, the SQL query contains all the fields that are used in the report. When the scope of Analysis option is used, or a drill-down is attempted, that causes the target field to be added to the SQL query. If the field that is being added was not part of the original report SQL, then the resulting SQL query will be invalid and will throw either an Invalid SQL error, or a No Results error.
