1613472 - How to enable trace logging for BI 4.x Web applications

Symptom

  • You would like to enable trace logging for your Web applications (webapps) such as CMC, BI launchpad, open document, web servcies etc in BI40 platform
  • ATTN 4.3 users!!! To enable web application tracing on fiori (fiori replaces bilaunchpad on 4.3 and above and in some cases is even used on 4.2) use KBA 3076470
  • To have your web application logs deciphered automatically for you please upload them to the new Support Log Assistant (SLA)
