Symptom

  • Error: "[error]: Failure to validate the database credential has a potential to crash the database at a later stage. Enter the correct information. (STU00104)" during installation BOE XI 3.1.
  • DB2 error found:  ErrorMessage([IBM][CLI Driver] SQL30082N  Security processing failed with reason "42" ("ROOT CAPABILITY REQUIRED").  SQLSTATE=08001
    ), ErrorCode(-30082) error when attempting add a new Server Intelligence Agent (SIA) or logging into db2 directly.
