1614559 - “Could not save to SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise. For more information, contact your administrator or customer service representative” error in Dashboard Design.

Following error message is displayed when tried to save the dashboard to BusinessObjects Enterprise:

"Could not save to SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise. For more information, contact your administrator or customer service representative"

• Dashboard Design 4.0
• Microsoft Office 2007 Service Pack 2
• Operating System: Windows 7 64 Bit

1. Launch Dashboard Design.

2. Open the dashboard.

3. Go to ‘File -> Save to Platform As -> Dashboard design object/Dashboard Design Object to Replace Flash Object’ menu.

4. Enter log on credentials in ‘Log On to BusinessObjects Enterprise’ window and click on OK button.

5. Enter file name in front of ‘File name:’ and click on Save button.

6. Notice that the following error is displayed:

“Could not save to SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise. For more information, contact your administrator or customer service representative”

Uninstall and reinstall Dashboard Design.

1. Go to Control Panel and open ‘Programs and Features’.

2. Locate ‘Dashboard Design’, right click on it and select ‘Uninstall’.

3. Wait until Dashboard Design un-installation completes.

4. Reinstall Dashboard Design.
