1615549 - Project Uploaded from Microsoft Project Shows Different Milestone Dates

You as a Project Manager, upload a new project created on Microsoft Projects (XML file), whereas the milestone dates were not replicated to the original dates on the XML upload file.

The cause for the issue is that, in the XML file the milestones might have a duration greater than zero and in the projects (SAP Business ByDesign) the milestones have no duration.

As a result, for each milestone in a Microsoft Project with a duration greater than zero, two project tasks are created in the SAP Business ByDesign solution; a new task and a new milestone, and the duration is assigned to the new task. Both the new task and the milestone have the same name as the milestone in Microsoft Project.
