1617012 - "Error : File Repository Server Output is down" while opening scheduled instances in pdf or excel format.

Symptom

Navigating in InfoView, when trying to see the history of a document or report with multiple instances in Excel or PDF format, an empty page is displayed with the header: "Error : File Repository Server Output is down "

Verifying the status of the Output File Repository server in the CMC > Servers shows this service up and running.
