Symptom

Following error message is displayed when tried to open Live Office based dashboards in Xcelsius: "Crystal Xcelsius is unable to load this file. This file may be corrupt or have features that cannot be supported by this version of Crystal Xcelsius".

Reproducing the Issue

      1. Launch Xcelsius.
      2. Open live office based dashboard.
      3. Notice that following error message is displayed:
          “Crystal Xcelsius is unable to load this file. This file may be corrupt or have features that cannot be supported by this version of Crystal Xcelsius”.

Cause

Microsoft Office File Validation Add in 14.0.5130.5003 (KB2501584) is installed on the machine.

Resolution

Uninstall Microsoft Office File Validation Add in 14.0.5130.5003 (KB2501584).
