1623368 - Supressing Web Template Warning & Information Messages

Symptom

You need to control the display of messages in a Web application.

  • Warnings or Errors are displayed after executing a Web Template in the Portal.
  • System messages are being displayed in the Web application.
  • Expected error messages are not shown in the Web Application, e.g. when a user inputs invalid values for the variables in the selection screen.

NOTE: Web template warning & information messages can be suppressed in all cases, except for planning and authorization messages. These error messages have to be shown to the user, regardless of the settings. This is due to security considerations, as the user would have no way of knowing that they do not have the relevant authorization without the message being displayed.
