1625230 - DesktopIntelligence Full Client tool hangs after the prompt dialog box for Change Password is cancelled in BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1


  • In Desktop Intelligence Client tool, when a user cancels the Change Password dialog box, repo_proxy error is thrown and the session hangs.
  • The issue also occurs with Enterprise Administrator.
  • The Desktop Intelligence Client tool has to be manually killed through Task Manager by killing the busobj.exe process when the error occurs.
  • This behavior is observed in BusinessObjects Enterprise XI SP3 FP 3.5 and SP4 and cannot be reproduced in SP3.
