1627396 - How to Configure Time Account Type with Recurrence Date Different to Calendar Year

You, as a time administrator, have a requirement to configure a time account type with a recurrence date different to calendar year, like matching company's fiscal year (e.g. from Feb 01 to Jan 31). You wonder how to achieve this.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the project and click the Open Activity List view.
4. Select the Fine-Tune arrow, find the activity Time Accounts - <country name> and open it.
5. Select the Maintain Time Account Types link.
6. Select the respective time account type, set Recurrence to such as Annual, February 1 to January 31.
7. In the below Details, change the Bookable From and Bookable To to Start of time account and End of time account and select the Save and Close.
8. Select the Maintain Time Account Rules link.
9. Select the respective time account type, select the Add Row button in Details to add a new rule or select the existing rule.
10. In the Accrual Rule tab, set Accrual Date to Annually, February 1.
11. Fill in other fields, e.g. for Period End Rules, and select the Save and Close.
