SAP Knowledge Base Article - PreviewSymptom
When getting latest version of object/s from Data Services Central Repository for local repository from within Data Services Designer, processes associated with the local repository appear to hang:
- Scheduled jobs do not appear to be executing
- Data Services Designer appears to continuously be locked
- Killing the Data Services Designer process appears to restore local repository functionality. (Scheduled jobs execute and it's possible to log back into Designer.)
