• When you are trying to send a mail from Process Integration (PI) to a Mail Server, using the Mail Adapter, you receive the error:
  • java.io.IOException: server does not support PLAIN or LOGIN authentication

• The below errors may also be present on the channel:
  Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.sdk.xi.srt.BubbleException: Failed to call the endpoint [null "null"]; nested exception caused by: java.io.IOException: server does not support PLAIN or LOGIN authentication
  MAIL_SNT_FAILjava.io.IOException: server does not support PLAIN or LOGIN authentication
