1630152 - No Value Selection Available in Advanced Search of Project Task in Edit Time Sheet

Symptom

In Edit Time Sheet, user cannot find value help icon with the fields in the Advanced Search for Project Task.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Home work center.
  2. Go to Self Services view 
  3. Go to Self Services Overview sub-view.
  4. Select the Edit Time Sheet link.
  5. Select the value help for Task.

Where there is no value help for any of the fields (Project ID, Task ID, Service ID and so on).

Cause

The Advanced Search fields are intended for text input to support partial string search, so value help icons are not provided. 

Resolution

The system works as designed.

The Advanced Search is to find the project task on partial string of Project ID, Service ID and etc. So input box here is for text only and system does not show value help icon.
