1630229 - CA Introscope Enterprise Manager has JAVA heap problems

Symptom

  • The CA Introscope Enterprise Manager has been installed successfully, however it does not starts after the start command. The IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.log located at /usr/sap/ccms/wilyintroscope/logs shows one of the following errors:
[ERROR] [Manager.Bootstrap] Load all Management Modules FAILED.
[ERROR] [Manager] The EM failed to start. Null
or
[ERROR] [Manager.Bootstrap] Load all ManagementModules FAILED.
[ERROR] [Manager] The EM failed to start. Java heap space

or
[ERROR] [WrapperSimpleAppMain] [Manager] The EM failed to start. Java heap space
[ERROR] [State Saver] [Manager] Uncaught Exception in Enterprise Manager:  In thread State Saver and the message is java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
  •  The CA Enterprise Manager has JAVA heap space issues. For example, the Enterprise Manager service crashes due to out of memory issues.
