• Create a Crystal Report that has the potential to show detailed lines for millions of records
• Run the report for a limited range of records, say for example, under 2GB of data, and it runs and exports fine
• Run the report for an unlimited range of records, say for example, the entire table of information, (2GB+), and there is a memory error, or the data shown in the report is returned as 'garbage' characters

• Crystal Reports is not meant to be a data extraction, or data transformation tool (ETL)
• Crystal Reports was designed to be a report formatting tool, for analyzing small, to medium sized data sets

If you would like a 'data dump', or to transfer a large amount of data to another location, have your database administrator use a database ETL process, such as a .csv export and import.
