Symptom

Symptoms include the following:

  • One or more of the following error appear in trace logs for Java application server:
    • INFO: The bisecurity service, which is not valid, caused java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.wsdl.Operation.getExtensibilityElements()Ljava/util/List;
    • INFO: The biworkflow service, which is not valid, caused java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.wsdl.Operation.getExtensibilityElements()Ljava/util/List;
    • INFO: org.apache.axis2.deployment.DeploymentException: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.wsdl.Operation.getExtensibilityElements()Ljava/util/List;
    • INFO: The bicatalog service, which is not valid, caused java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.wsdl.Operation.getExtensibilityElements()Ljava/util/List;
    • INFO: The biplatform service, which is not valid, caused java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.wsdl.Operation.getExtensibilityElements()Ljava/util/List;
    • INFO: The liveoffice service, which is not valid, caused java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.wsdl.Operation.getExtensibilityElements()Ljava/util/List;
    • INFO: The managequeryasaservice service, which is not valid, caused java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.wsdl.Operation.getExtensibilityElements()Ljava/util/List;
    • INFO: The publish service, which is not valid, caused java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.wsdl.Operation.getExtensibilityElements()Ljava/util/List;
    • INFO: The queryservice service, which is not valid, caused java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.wsdl.Operation.getExtensibilityElements()Ljava/util/List;

    • org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext start SEVERE: Error filterStart
    • org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext start SEVERE: Context [/polestar] startup failed due to previous errors
  • http://servername:port/dswsbobje/services/listServices shows one or more services with a failed status
