Symptom
- When connecting to BPC the message "Cannot connect ABAP server. Please check your ABAP server information" is displayed
- On SAP (BPC) Server Manager, "Reset Login Credentials", the communication users' password fields are empty
- If you enter the passwords for these users they will not be correctly updated
- "Update failed; reenter the information" may be shown when updating the passwords
- In the <install drive>:\PC_NW\Websrv\ServerConfiguration.config the users also don't have a (encrypted) password set:
<SysAdmin user="BPC_SYSADMIN" password="" client="001" systemNumber="00" language="EN"/>
<Admin user="BPC_ADMIN" password="" client="001" systemNumber="00" language="EN"/>
<User user="BPC_USER" password="" client="001" systemNumber="00" language="EN"/>
