Symptom

This KBA applies to the following scenarios:

  • Release codes are displayed incorrectly in ME52N, ME53N and ME54N or ME22N, ME23N and ME29N.
  • Incorrect statuses are assigned to already released codes in Purchasing documents.
  • Already released lines have to be released again.
  • Error message "System error (error in method initiate_Release)".
  • It is neccessary to add a new release strategy. What is the impact of doing this?
  • It is necessary to change the characteristic value of an existing release strategy.
