1635706 - Active Directory Authentication failed to get the Active Directory groups for the accout with ID. GUID. Please make sure this account is valid and belongs to an accessible domain

Symptom

  • Error updating the Active Directory groups in CMC > Authentication > Windows AD: Error updating Windows AD authentication properties: Active Directory Authentication failed to verify one or more of the mapped groups. If the problem persists, please delete and re-map into BusinessObjects Enterprise the following group(s): (SID)
  • Error retrieving information from AD users: Active Directory Authentication failed to get the Active Directory groups for the account with ID. GUID. Please make sure this account is valid and belongs to an accessible domain
  • Activating the traces in the CMS the following error appears:

WINAD: ADNetworkBinding::BindIADsToGC() -- Could not bind to any Global Catalogs!
WINAD: ADAggregationManager::UpdateGraph() -- Could not bind to directory service. hr=-2147467259
