Symptom
- When using the Clamp Page Footer option, reports print correctly from the Crystal Reports 2008 designer.
- When printing the reports using the Report Viewer, the last page starts printing from the middle of the page instead of from the top of the page.
Environment
Crystal Reports Server 2008 v1
Reproducing the Issue
- In Crystal Reports (CR) Designer 2008, create a new crystal report which has a last page which fills only half of the page.
- In the design tab, open Section Expert > Page Footer and check Clamp Page Footer.
- From CR Designer, view and print the report: all pages are printed from the top.
- Save the report to Enterprise and view it from Infoview.
- Print the report: the last page starts printing from the middle of the page.
Note:
- Reports which don't have the Clamp Page Footer option checked print correctly.
- If the report is scheduled to printer, it will print correctly as well.
