1636132 - JavaScript errors calling a website in Portal URL iView

Symptom

  • You are using a URL iView to integrate a custom or third-party website / web application to the portal
  • When the iView is set to display in the portal content area, the website may fail to load or buttons within the website might not work
  • If you configure your browser to notify you about every script error, you may see a JavaScript 'access denied' or 'permission denied' error
  • Typically this does not happen if the iView is set to launch in a separate window
