Symptom

  • While upgrading Data Services  from 12.2.0.0 to 12.2.3.2  the following error is produced during the install:

[error] Errcode 1: gzip -
dc "/export/home/bodiadm/upgrade_12_2_3_2/pkg/di.00010.tar.gz"
| /bin/tar xvfb - 1

  • If the message is ignored the  installation  completes with success.
  • Is there any potential harm to the environment because of this error?
