1637418 - Data Services RFC Server hangs and jobs fail when loading to SAP BW

Symptom

  • Data Services RFC Server hangs
  • When launching the Job from Data Services the following error occurs: "Load data to BW failed: RequestID = <xxxxxx>, Packet Number = <-1>"
  • The problem is sometimes intermittent, but occurs more frequently when there are multiple jobs being executed from Data Services loading to BW
  • After the problem occurs, subsequent jobs fail until the Data Services RFC Server is restarted
