Symptom

  • Flat file schema is used to access files stored on a Mapped or Shared drive.
  • Job will fail with following error :
    Error "Cannot open file <x:\path\file.dat> please check its path and permissions"
  • Can access file and open without error on both jobserver and client machine
  • Data Services user has permissions to both locations
