1642543 - Update is terminated due to error ME803 - SAP ERP & SAP S/4 HANA.

Symptom

  • When deleting replenishment delivery, update is terminated due to error ME 803 in function module RV_DELIVERIES_SAVE.
  • When deleting replenishment delivery, update is terminated. Error message "System error: quantity not completely distributed" occurs in function module RV_DELIVERIES_SAVE.
  • Replenishment delivery still exists although it has been deleted.
  • Replenishment delivery cannot be deleted due to update termination.
  • Replenishment delivery cannot be deleted due to error ME 803.
  • Delete the delivery in transaction code VL02N. After that, delivery can still be opened in transaction code VL02n.
  • Delete the delivery in transaction code VL02N. After that, system issue message VL310 saying that the delivery has been deleted successfully. Later, there comes a pop-up to inform the update termination.
  • when trying to save the delivery with deleted quantity from PO in VL02N, system terminates with error ME 803.
