How to avoid the default selection of Time Recording Expected flag in the purchase order.

1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
2. Select New Purchase Order link under Common Tasks.
3. Fill in all the mandatory details and select the Project Task in the account assignment field.

When the purchase order is created out of a project purchase request for the service item the system automatically sets the Time Recording Required flag as the project service delivery will be performed via time recording.

The Goods and Services Receipt Expected flag is depended on the Time Recording Required flag and when the service delivery is performed via time recording then the Goods and Services Receipt gets created automatically based on the times recording.

As per the system design behavior currently, it is no possible to deselect the time recording flag for the purchase order linked to the project purchase request.

However, as a workaround, you can cancel the existing purchasing documents linked to project purchase request and create a new purchase order out of shopping cart or standalone purchase order and assign the account assignment to project this will avoid the default selection of Time Recording Required checkbox in the purchase order.
